Playful, collaborative, educational and creative, this workshop is based on thecollective intelligence by making the participants involved in their fresco.
Objectives of the fresco:
- give in 3 hours the maximum dinformation for Help with the transition from the construction sector ;

- Bring knowledge: give quantified elements in order to become aware of orders of magnitude and resources;

- To have one Global vision of thecurrent impact of the construction sector on our environment, done or dA building set.
For whom?
Everyone is concerned with climate change and biodiversity loss. The construction fresco was therefore designed for people with an interest in the construction sector tillto theAll construction professionals: the former will discover the subject and deconstruct their prejudices, while the latter will deepen and question practices.
where?
This fresco can be animated in your premises, in a room made available to us, or online. We will think about it together during theorganization of the fresco.
why?
because theClimate emergency requires that we change trajectory very quickly. lOne of the keys begins with Understanding the problem.
Data…
France has its own rules oftown planning and constructive systems (concrete and dinterior insulation). The data is therefore oriented France largely.
The sources come from reports: from group dintergovernmental experts on theevolution of the climate (IPCC),Ecological Transition Agency (ADEME), Center Dstudies and economic research on theenergy (Ceren), from the technical interprofessional center ofstudies of atmospheric pollution (CITEPA),National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), Carbon 4 and National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC). We will send you the synthesis of these at the end of the fresco.
How do we play?
The operation is very simple. The players are As a team of 4 to 8 players. They have maps representing the different components related to the construction sector and consult each other in order to Find the links of cause and effect by theme by positioning them and connecting them together. One Framing animator one or more teams to guide them during theWorkshop, ensure good communication between members and give additional explanations.

La fresque de la construction nous a permis de bien appréhender les enjeux environnementaux appliqués aux domaines de la construction. Quels inducteurs en termes d’empreinte environnementale mais aussi et surtout quels leviers nous pourrions activer pour être collectivement un peu plus vertueux. L’exercice mené en collectif laisse place à l’échange et au dialogue ce qui est plus que nécessaire sur le sujet.

La Fresque de la Construction est un outil pédagogique de grande qualité : elle aide les participants à poser un diagnostic clair sur le fonctionnement du secteur et permet d’entrevoir – ou plutôt de déduire – les chemins à emprunter pour demain…
L’atelier apporte en quelques heures un socle de compréhension intégrant à la fois les pratiques en vigueur et les transformations à opérer.

La Fresque de la construction, ou comment mieux comprendre l’ampleur de l’urgence à agir pour transformer le secteur du bâtiment !
Infrastructures, modèles de développement, modes de consommation énergétiques, matériaux, usages… tout y passe et nous permet en quelques heures de construire en équipe un bel état des lieux de la situation du secteur aujourd’hui.
La Fresque permet à chacun d’esquisser des solutions et d’échanger, voir de débattre, en toute confiance.

1st part ‘understanding’
During this part of1h30, the participants discover game cards and co-build the fresco Around different themes:
needs | ltown planning | design | construction | luse and their consequences.
2nd part ‘Creativity’
In 25 minutes, the participants decompress and take a step back from the fresco in Lillustrating, making it unique. Participants must make their fresco as attractive, original and comprehensive as possible. They must choose a title together, highlight key messages, add illustrations… This creativity phase allows you to sappropriate knowledge.
3rd part ‘tracks ofaction’
This part lasts 1 hour and is divided into two steps:
- The participants imagine and offer their avenues ofaction
- In a 2nd time, 60 D-track cardsaction are offered. Players get to know it, selecting and explaining their choice to others. After exchange, they debate the avenues ofmost relevant action and actions to be taken.
4th part ‘restitution’
In just 5 minutes, theanimator summarizes what has been learned in order toanchor in minds and allowto have one view oftogether.

General public workshops are offered regularly with the aim of discovering the construction fresco.

Professional participants are accepted but no more than two representatives per company.

How to participate in a construction fresco?

Do you have to have already participated in a climate fresco to participate in the construction fresco?
No, it is not necessary.
We still strongly recommend that we also participate in the climate fresco to better understand this key subject of climate change (it is even a prerequisite to become an animator), but this can be done before or after a fresco in the construction.
Is it possible to do a workshop in less time?
Not really. l3 hour workshop may seem long but the participants do not see the time passing!
From what Age Is it possible to participate in a workshop?
From around 16 years old.
Where to download the maps of the construction fresco?
The maps are currently only made available to facilitators who have been trained in the animation of the construction fresco. They are therefore not available for free download.
Can I be notified as soon as you add a new session?
No, sorry. We nhave no system dAutomated alert. You need to come back regularly to the site, we add new public sessions periodically!
We are several members of the same company. Can we register for a public session online? It’s much cheaper than a service!
Professional participants are accepted but no more than two representatives per company. If you want to organize a session in your organization, an intervention in the form of a service is possible, contact us.

Train yourself in the fresco of construction and become an animator
To become a facilitator, you must:
- have participated in a workshop of the construction fresco;
- Be a confirmed facilitator of the climate fresco or have a good level of knowledge on climate change;
- Do the training at lAnimation (guidand)
- Know the organizations and have read some publications from reference organizations (Ademe, Ceren, Carbon 4);
- Being validated as an approved trainer during his first animation.

Any use of the construction fresco in associative, private and school settings (initial training) is welcome!
For this the FDLC is placed under license Duse Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 3.0 GB . This means that the tool can be used freely, provided you credit thework, not to make any modifications and to remain in a non-commercial use. This excludes any paid use and any internal use within da business.
Commercial use:
Any use of the construction fresco in professional settings – in service and internally in companies – is possible.
Commercial use is permitted for other facilitators on condition that certain prerequisites are met and the rights of use are paid to theAssociation. The rights collected will be used to finance the dissemination of the construction fresco, in order to spread as much as possible the knowledge of the environmental impacts of the construction sector as well as theassociated actions.
